LoLo Spring Smoothie

 

INGREDIENTS

1 cup spinach or kale

1/2 cup cucumber, chopped

1/2 cup green apple, chopped

1/2 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)

1/2 avocado

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp chia seed

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

1 scoop LoLo Vanilla Collagen Protein

1 cup coconut water or almond milk

Ice cubes (optional)

 

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Prepare the Ingredients
    • Wash the spinach or kale thoroughly.
    • Chop the cucumber and green apple.
    • If using fresh pineapple, cut into chunks.
  2. Blend the Base Ingredients
    • In a blender, add the spinach or kale, cucumber, green apple, pineapple chunks, and avocado.
  3. Add the Enhancers
    • Pour in the lemon juice and add the grated ginger.
  4. Incorporate the Collagen Peptides:
    • Add the scoop of collagen peptides to the blender.
  5. Add Liquid and Blend
    • Pour in the coconut water or almond milk.
    • Blend until smooth.
    • Add ice cubes if you prefer a chilled smoothie.
  6. Serve:
    • Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.

TIPS

Customize
Feel free to swap the coconut water or almond milk with your favorite beverage.
Flavor
Add a handful of fresh mint for an extra refreshing flavor.
Sweeten
If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add a teaspoon of honey or a few slices of ripe banana.
