As a mom of boys who are athletes and don’t “do keto” (insert teenage eye roll). I end up devising clever ways to feed us all, because really, there’s no such thing as a food that’s paleo or keto, it either nurtures you or it doesn't.
My Lazy Susannah recipe for LoLo’s Spicy Wang Dip is inspired from my days cooking at my dad’s restaurant in Virginia Beach where we served Hot Wings with blue cheese dressing on the regular. It is super simple to make and tasty AND it’s teenage boy approved!
LOLO’s SPICY WANG DIP
Ingredients (all are approximations, make it your own by tweaking amounts):
2 Tablespoons Trader Joe’s raw milk Blue Cheese
2 Tablespoons Organic Sour Cream
2 Tablespoons Avocado Mayo (I prefer Chosen Foods brand)
1 teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar
1 teaspoon Texas Pete Hotter Sauce
¼ tsp kosher salt
¼ tsp pepper
Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
Start Dipping.
I serve mine with chicharrones chips but it’s equally tasty with celery, veggies or yes, even fried chicken wings!
